My name is Michael Casey. I live in Boston, Massachusetts. I started this blog back in November 2008 just after the election ended. This blog is based purely off of Common Sense and common sense-based principles. Hence, the blog is called “Pure Common Sense.” I will post my ramblings on life, politics, religion, pop-culture and current events. You will not find me pulling any punches or putting up with any nonsense of any kind on this blog. I am bluntly honest but also realistically pragmatic and you will find reason in all my posts.

Mike:
Thanks so much for visiting my site. It was a pleasure to see the pure common sense on the page. I hope you’ll comment regularly because, like you, I hope that the comments will build conversation and insight!
Namaste’,
Holly
Mike:
Since you know how much common sense means to me, I thought I should give you the 411 on my post today. There’s such a lack of common sense in the subject matter, it makes my head pulse. Won’t you join me in a head pulsing wonder? Have a great day!
Mike! Thanks for your compliment today! I’m really thrilled that you liked the post so much. I may have common sense, but you have Pure Common Sense!
It is uplifting to see a young man thinking so clearly and writing so honestly about current events. It proves that the official media and the dumbing down education system did not succeed entirely in indoctrinating and promoting an over-entertained and under-educated society. Mike, you are the hope for a better tomorrow, (though you are in a minority). Keep up the good work and never give up on your integrity!
If you want to read a reader’s feedback
, I rate this post for 4/5. Detailed info, but I have to go to that damn google to find the missed bits. Thank you, anyway!
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I came here to make sure I knew your name, because I’m giving away a free book from my own library to the winner of the drawing.:)
I do not understand

An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea.
Words have the power to both destroy and heal. When words are both true and kind, they can change our world.
Sad to say, the above explanation should actually explain what Common Sense is…even among the liberty newbies, surely many have no idea about Paine’s publication.
Which, by the way, would be illegal under our current system of “free expression” censorship, as it was paid political speech published anonymously, and advocated the breaking of laws.

If you wish success in life, make perseverance your bosom friend, experience your wise counselor, caution your elder brother and hope your guardian genius.
Nothing succeeds like the appearance of success.
Sometimes true Bharat. Sometimes not true. If all one has is the appearance of success, sooner or later they may be exposed. Maintaining real success is the best way to keep that appearance alive.
All men pipedream, but not equally. Those who day-dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the age to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the epoch are dangerous men, benefit of they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to get them possible.
Very interesting way of looking at day-dreams. I never thought of them as aberrations from people who will one day twist them into expressions of power. I believe that every person needs to have great dreams to carry them through their life. I think it’s okay to dream as long as your dream doesn’t cause others discomfort or sadness.
Hey Michael,
Could you drop me an email please? I couldn’t find your contact information here. Thanks!

Yeah, sure. I actually thought I already put my email on this site. I’ll probably put it there soon.
